I am Nanami. I am from Chiba, Japan.

Ten years ago, I came to the States to learn more about an inclusive education system and supportive mental health culture. After working as a special education teacher, ESL teacher, and rehabilitation employment specialist, I decided to pursue my career as a psychotherapist. I am currently enrolled in the MFT program at Syracuse University. I want to assist individuals, couples, and families in embracing trauma and in connecting with themselves and their loved ones.

I enjoy reading, trying new foods, and practicing Pilates. I live in Virginia with my husband, our son, and our two dogs.
